Health Equity Learning Series - September 12th

"You still have time to join us on Thursday, September 12 from 11:00am-1:00pm for the next Health Equity Learning Series Lunch at The Colorado Trust | 1600 Sherman Street | Denver, CO.

Health equity is providing fair and equal opportunities for all people to lead healthy, productive lives regardless of race, ethnicity, income or where they live. Since January, we’ve hosted presentations from experts discussing the definition of health equity, the role of health policy to achieve health equity and how community engagement is key to creating health equity.

Please plan to join us for the next event to learn how communities from across the country are tackling inequities in health and reaching health equity solutions. Leaders from three foundations will share their challenges, successes and lessons for communities in Colorado working toward health equity. We will hear from the following presenters:
  • Elizabeth Myung Sook Krause, Vice President, Policy and Communications, Connecticut Health Foundation.
  • Nichole June Maher, MPH, President, Northwest Health Foundation.
  • Yanique Redwood, PhD, President and CEO, Consumer Health Foundation.
RSVP to Alisa Bourne at abourne@coloradotrust.org by Wednesday, September 4.  Note that space is limited!  If you are unable to attend the luncheon, click here to register for the live stream."  [Source: The Colorado Trust]
