Kaiser Permanente released "Walk and Wheel" RFPs

Kaiser Permanente Colorado Community Benefit released two Requests for Proposal (RFP) making $1.35 million available as part of the KP Walk and Wheel Colorado grant program.  Kaiser aims to create increased assess to multi-modal transportation to assure mobility for people of all ages and incomes.  Through a focused effort to increase walking and biking for daily activities, KP seeks to engage communities in the creation of safe environments that foster access to, promotion of and demand for more livable communities.
  • Local city or county governments (up to 10) can apply for up to $100K over two years to implement community based solutions to promote walking, biking and multi-modal transit.
  • Charitable or non-profit organizations; city, state or federal government agencies (up to 10) can apply for up to 35K over two years to implement worksite solutions to promote walking, biking and multi-modal transit.
A recorded application workshop (webinar) will be held on August 22nd, 2013.  The local or county governments' workshop will be from 11-12pm MST, please register using the following information.  The worksite workshop will be on August 22, from 12-1pm.  Please register using the following information:
