PEAK Updates

  • "RESOLVED PEAK Error Message: PEAK was displaying a tax information error message when retroactive Medical Assistance was requested on the application. This issue has been corrected. The temporary solution we distributed on January 20, Troubleshooting Tip for PEAK Error Message, should be disregarded.
  • Update on Reporting a Life Change Event in PEAK: On January 25, PEAK was updated to improve Report My Changes and Redetermination/Recertification functions when reporting certain life change events. PEAK now dynamically guides the client through providing any additional information needed based on the change they are reporting.
  • Support Calls for Community Partners: Support calls for Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) are scheduled to follow major PEAK updates to discuss system performance and known issues. The upcoming support call schedule is yet to be determined, and will be posted on our PEAK Outreach & Training site when it is available. 
  • Partner and Consumer Resources Available Online: The Department of Health Care policy and Financing has posted resources for partners and consumers. The resources include Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidance on the Federal Income Tax and Advanced Premium Tax Credits and an update on known issues related to the health coverage application process and shopping experience."
