"As many of you have seen, applicants are getting stuck in the online application with an error that says: "Error: Please select a value for "Was this person claimed as a tax dependent on someone else's tax return in 2014?" This error message is related to requests for retroactive Medical Assistance.
As a temporary solution, applicants can move forward in the application by un-checking the box for each month that they requested retroactive coverage. However, please note that this would remove the request for retroactive Medical Assistance, and the applicant would need to work with a county case worker to determine whether or not they qualify for retroactive coverage.
