“The Colorado Health Foundation is excited to announce the opening of a new funding opportunity within our Healthy Living outcome area.

Funding Opportunity: Healthy Living Advocacy: Leadership Development
As part of the Colorado Health Foundation's strategies to create healthy communities and healthy early childhood settings and schools, the goal of this funding opportunity is to build advocates for healthy living policies. Specifically, the Foundation will support advocacy leadership development programs that promote and preserve policies that increase healthy eating and active living or address one of the social determinants of health that present barriers to healthy eating and active living.

The advocacy leadership development funding opportunity is designed for: Community members, Professionals, Youth. To be considered for funding, applicants must meet specific criteria. Open deadlines: October 15, 2015; February 15, 2016; June 15, 2016; October 15, 2016; February 15, 2017; June 15, 2017.
