Grants to Free/Charitable Clinics to Establish CDC-recognized Lifestyle Change Programs for the Prevention of Type 2 Diabetes
“In collaboration with the American Medical Association’s Improving Health Outcomes department, the AMA Foundation will be awarding $10,000 grants to eight free clinics through the Healthy Communities/Healthy America program. Clinics will receive funding to implement the CDC’s National Diabetes Prevention Program over the course of two years. The 2015 Healthy Communities/Healthy America RFP is now available. All RFP’s must be submitted via email to amafoundation@ama-assn.org by November 6, 2015 at 5pm CST in order to be considered.” [Source: AMA Foundation]
