Health IT students looking to volunteer in safety net clinics!
Students in Arapahoe Community College’s Health Information Technology (HIT) program are interested in volunteering at community safety net clinics throughout the Denver Metro Area and Colorado Springs to assist with scanning projects, quality assurance checks and all tasks related to health data. Students must be oriented to the task and supervised by clinic staff. Students are generally available 40-80 hours during a given semester. Schedules must fit both the clinic and the student’s individual needs. If interested, please contact Cindy Johnson, HIT Program Chair at 303-797-5603 or cindy.johnson@arapahoe.edu.
