CCHAP Updates

“Medicaid Fee for Service Provider Rate Increases: REMINDER: Make sure your billing rates for Medicaid services are at appropriate levels based on these higher reimbursement rates while also keeping in mind the supplemental payments up to MEDICARE rates for E&M codes and vaccine administration codes. Medicaid will reimburse the LESSER of fee schedule rate (or applicable MEDICARE rate) or billed charges.

Medicaid provider rate increases were approved during the 2013-2014 legislative session and are effective for dates of service beginning July 1, 2014. Click here to access Medicaid fee schedules. The new July 1st, 2014 fee schedule will be available when approved by CMS. There is a 2% increase for most of the fee-for-service benefits. Click here to read more.
