“My colleague’s uncle is convinced that the United States has the best health care in the world because we have “the best technology” and “the fanciest medicines and procedures.” On one hand, he is right. We‘ve made some great advancements as far as new treatments and technologies. But let’s face it, unless you have incredible insurance or ample financial resources, access to the latest and greatest is out of reach.
