“Improving health in Colorado is the shared responsibility of leaders, policymakers, community members, and businesses. Investing in health is a way to help communities flourish, and its role as a key part of our civic and social infrastructure is absolute. Fixing the health system can’t be achieved by any one organization or even the entirety of the health care sector—it will take a more collaborative, collective approach than ever before.
This year’s annual luncheon will feature Liz Baxter, an experienced leader and advocate for health and health care. She is currently the executive director of the Oregon Public Health Institute and board chair of Cover Oregon. We hope to see you there!
The event will be held September 23, 2014 from 11am-1pm at Space Gallery (400 Santa Fe Drive in Denver). Cost is $50. Click here to register now.” [Source: CCMU]
