Update on Assistance Network Funding Opportunity

"This week, we announced that the deadline for submission of applications for the Connect for Health Assistance Network Funding Opportunity has been extended to April 19...We announced the grant funding opportunity on February 22 and have received a high level of interest statewide from organizations interested in providing local, in-person support to Coloradans. We’ve had two public stakeholder sessions and posted answers to more than 120 questions on our website. We have scheduled a third stakeholder webinar on April 1 to focus on assisting businesses. We are pleased to see that organizations are collaborating to build proposals for this new program and we look forward to seeing your ideas in a few weeks. Updates about activities of the Connect for Health Assistance Network

COHBE Seeks Applications from Local and Statewide Organizations to Provide Customer Support and Outreach

"The Colorado Health Benefit Exchange (COHBE) is inviting organizations across Colorado to submit applications to be part of the new Connect for Health Assistance Network. The Assistance Network will be a team of organizations across the state that will provide certified Health Coverage Guides to sit down with customers and help them use Colorado's new health insurance marketplace...The Connect for Health Assistance Network Funding Opportunity is available on our website. Applications for grants are due April 8, 2013. COHBE will host public informational meetings to answer questions about the funding opportunity. Questions and completed applications must be submitted by email to grants@cohbe.org. COHBE name changes and upcoming RFP for CHAN Assistance Sites

The Colorado Health Benefits Exchange (COHBE) will become Connect for Health Colorado starting in the spring!  Its' Navigator Program is now called the Connect for Health Assistance Network (CHAN).  Click here to learn more about the CHAN.

The Connect for Health Assistance Network will certify Assistance Sites to give local, in person help to people using the new online marketplace for health plans.
