The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and Colorado SIM Office are interested in identifying strategies that will support integrated care delivery and services by enabling the electronic sharing of behavioral health information between providers. This is a critical step in supporting care coordination and realizing the goal of better health, better care and lower costs for everyone.

The webinar will provide an in-depth review of 42 CFR Part 2 and include:

• Review of the exceptions to the General Rule 
• Clarification of the relationship of Part 2 to other privacy laws
• Explanation of consent under privacy laws and protections for minors
• Application of Part 2 in physical and behavioral health care settings
