- The new rates have not yet been loaded into our claims payment system (the MMIS). Although the rates took effect on July 1, providers will not see the new rates until they are loaded.
- We will notify key stakeholders when the rates have been loaded successfully on the Provider Implementations web page.
- Approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) is still pending on some rate increases.
- Most of the rate increases can be paid retroactively to July 1, 2015, once they are approved by CMS. For exclusions, please see the Fact Sheet on Provider Rate Increases.
- Providers should continue to bill the usual and customary rate so we can automatically adjust for the claims paid at the lower rate.
