“The TGYS Program is excited to announce the release of the Request for Application (RFA) for the next three-year funding cycle that begins July 1st, 2014. TGYS provides funding for community-based programs that target youth and their families with prevention and intervention services in an effort to prevent incidents of youth crime and violence, and child abuse and neglect.
To begin the TGYS application process, visit the TGYS website at: www.colorado.gov/CDHS/TGYS and download the application. The TGYS Program highly recommends that all potential applicants watch the RFA Technical Assistance Webinar, also posted on the TGYS website. This webinar provides information about the TGYS program, outlines the RFA requirements and provides resources and tips for submitting a competitive application.
Applications must be submitted by email and received by 4:00 pm Mountain Time on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Additional instructions are provided in the RFA document. If any questions remain, please submit these via the online form at: TGYS RFA Question Submission Form, and responses will be posted weekly on the TGYS website.
