Request for Applications (RFA) for the Old Age Pension (OAP) Dental Assistance Program

"The OAP Dental Program assists qualified low-income seniors in obtaining dental services including preventative and restorative services, dentures and partials, denture and partial repair, and tooth extractions.  Good oral health is vital to maintaining overall health, especially in our vulnerable senior populations.  The OAP Dental Program currently has 18 grantees around the state and the target area for this RFA is the Denver Metro area, however, all applications will be accepted and considered by the Dental Advisory Committee for funding as well.  The Dental Advisory Committee will award approximately $950,000 for the anticipated initial contracting period of November 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014.  Contract term will be 4 years contingent upon funding availability and performance.  Annual funding determinations will be made by the Dental Advisory Committee.  Please visit our website. Click on the "Old Age Pension Program" tab and look for "FY14 RFA" - the RFA and all supporting attachments can be found here."  [Source:  Colorado Rural Health Center]
