“HCPF has also provided a Partners in Covering Colorado document to clarify who is covered under the Adult MAGI Medical Assistance Group (Colorado Medicaid Expansion).  Adult MAGI Assistance provides medical assistance to eligible adults from the age of 15 through the end of the month the individual turns 65, who do not receive or who are ineligible for Medicare.

Medicare covers the “essential health benefits” requirement under the Affordable Care Act; therefore applicants applying for CICP are not required to provide CICP providers with a Medicaid denial.”  [Source:  HCPF]
