Safety Net Clinic Week is September 11-15!  I encourage you to use the toolkit below to have the most successful Safety Net Clinic Week 2017 possible!

• Short Overview of Safety Net Clinic Week (use as content for your website, blogs, social media, newsletters, email signatures, etc.)
• Safety Net Clinic Week Logo 
• Letter to the Editor (for submission to your local media)
• Governmental Proclamation or Resolution (request a proclamation from your city and/or county)
• Safety Net Clinic Week Invitation (consider inviting your city and/or county public officials, and community leaders to visit your clinic during SNCW. *see helpful links below)
• Open House Invitation (consider hosting an open house or some kind of celebratory event during SNCW! Please let me know if you are hosting an event.)
• Safety Net Clinic Week Fact Sheet (include with any invitation you extend and use, in addition to specific information about your clinic, as speaking points during Safety Net Clinic Week)
• Safety Net Clinic Week Press Release/Advisory (submit to your local media)
• Social Media Guidelines (ClinicNET's old facebook page is now the Safety Net Clinic Week facebook page! Be sure you like/follow it!) #SNCW17

Kids, Congress and Colorado: The Future of CHP+ - Colorado Health Institute, August 25, 2017

A CHIP coalition has come together in Colorado, lead by the Colorado Children's Campaign, to promote an advocacy effort for the continuation of federal funding for CHIP, known as CHP+  in Colorado. Below are some resources to help you and your clinic advocate for continued CHIP funding! Communications resources include:

• CHIP messaging platform
• CHIP factsheet
• CHIP draft social media package including contact info for the congressional delegation
• CHIP web text for your organization’s site
• CHIP email blast text for newsletters

Media help needed – the coalition is looking for media spokespeople, opinion piece authors and letters to the editor authors. They will connect you with media as well as create initial drafts for their consideration if they are willing. Specifically, they could use help in identifying network partners in the following Colorado counties and cities:

·         Denver

·         Boulder

·         Eagle County

·         Garfield County

·         Weld County

·         Pueblo, Custer or Fremont counties

·         Summit County

·         Kit Carson, Lincoln or Cheyenne counties

·         Yuma

·         Larimer County
