"The Tobacco Education, Prevention, and Cessation Grants Program is pleased to release a Request for Applications (RFA). The purpose of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to strengthen and grow the Tobacco Education, Prevention and Cessation Grants Program funding portfolioto achieve our strategic plan goals, reduce the health disparities of tobacco use and access, and increase health equity for priority populations across Colorado.
The Tobacco Review Committee expects to recommend grants totaling approximately $3 million for the period beginning approximately Jan. 1, 2014 through June 30, 2014. The number and amount of grant awards will vary depending on the number of awarded applications, proposed activities and recommendations made during the review process.
