"Screening, brief intervention, referral to treatment (SBIRT) is an evidence-based prevention service for adolescents and adults. It helps a patient understand the connection between alcohol and other drugs and health. It should be as routine as taking a blood pressure. A short convesation helps a patient make changes to improve their life.
SBIRT Colorado provides NO-COST TRAINING and support. Online and in-person training provides CE credits for nurses and physicians.
