ClinicNET is beginning a communications initiative to highlight the importance of Community Safety Net Clinics (CSNCs) post-ACA. Our new white paper features much of what ClinicNET will expand upon in the coming months via our blog, social media, issue briefs, press releases, articles and op-eds. We will be talking about the gaps that still exist in coverage and how CSNCs continue to meet patient needs. And we will reinforce the message that the ACA coverage expansions will not eliminate the need for CSNCs but instead will reveal their enduring value.
Additionally, we have published a reference document that answers frequently asked questions and addresses traditional misconceptions about CSNCs.
The role of CSNCs is more essential with the implementation of health care reform and they will help achieve Colorado’s commitment to expand access and capacity, improve health system integration and quality, and enhance value. We look forward to continuing our work with each of you.
