2016 Building Skills for Effective Teams (BSET)

The BSET training program is scheduled to start in October 2016 and run through September 2017, in Parker, CO. Over the course of a 12-month period, the BSET Program will include:
  • Four-2.5 days of Workshop
  • Ongoing Team Coaching
  • Implementation of UDS Quality Improvement Project
  • Completion of High and Low Ropes Course
Training is open to CHCs and safety-net clinics. All members of teams must commit to attend all scheduled dates.
•Session 1 of 4: Oct. 20-22, 2016
•Session 2 of 4: Dec. 14-16, 2016 (tentative dates)
•Session 3 of 4: March 8-10, 2017 (tentative dates)
•Session 4 of 4: May 10-12, 2017 (tentative dates)
•Final Capstone Presentation: Sept. 22, 2017 (tentative date)

•Teams must include at least two of the following professions: primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, dentists, mental health providers, behavioral health providers, social workers, and pharmacists.
•Teams can range in size from four (4) to seven (7) staff members.
•Over the course of the year, teams will complete a UDS-focused capstone project.
•Individualized team coaching throughout the year will be provided by Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence.
•Cost: $475.00 per person
