"The American Cancer Society and the CO Dept. of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) are partnering on a project that will be offered to clinics to increase breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening rates.

The purpose of this project is to provide your clinic with a picture of existing cancer screening practices and policies and to assist with sustainable infrastructure building that ensures breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening guidelines are being followed and your client population receives appropriate care. Below are key highlights and benefits of the Clinical Quality Improvement Partnership Project:
  • Good patient care and cancer screening resources
  • EHR modifications for improvement in reporting and data measurement
  • Increase in clinic reimbursements
  • Reimbursement for staff time
  • Technical assistance
  • Replicate process for other diseases
If you would like to know more about this project opportunity, please email Jo Bottorff, Jo.Bottorff@cancer.org and she will forward your information to the appropriate ACS staff, who will then contact you." [Source: American Cancer Society]
