Aurora Student-Run Free Clinic Background Info and Item Requests

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Chapter of Primary Care Progress (PCP) is proud to play an integral role in the creation and implementation of The Original Aurora Interdisciplinary Clinic with the mission to: provide comprehensive and high-quality primary care to the communities surrounding The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center; create a space where educational and volunteer objectives can be reached; allow trainees to contribute to community healthcare goals; and grow interest in the suffering primary care industry.

The proposed free clinic will be based at the Fields Foundation community hub, with students across disciplines providing care supervised by Anschutz faculty and residents. Collaboration will give all students meaningful exposure to self-declared areas of interest in health care, enriched by local and national experts in health care innovation and access.
