Webinar: Colorado Medicaid's Tobacco Cessation Counseling Benefit and the Colorado QuitLine

This webinar, on March 31 12:00-1:00pm, will provide an overview of the Colorado Medicaid tobacco cessation counseling benefit, including how to bill for these services. There will be discussion on how to effectively inform and motivate Medicaid clients for successful cessation. This webinar will also present on the Colorado QuitLine processes and resources specific to Medicaid, and how to use the QuitLine benefits in addition to Medicaid benefits. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!

Participant Learning Objectives - by the end of the training, participants will be able to:
  • Identify at least two covered Medicaid tobacco cessation counseling benefits
  • Describe at least two approaches to informing and motivating Medicaid clients about cessation
  • Describe how to bill Medicaid for tobacco cessation counseling
  • Identify how Medicaid providers can refer patients to the QuitLine and what coaching services are offered through the QuitLine
  • Identify how Medicaid benefits can be used concurrently with QuitLine benefits
