HCPF Accepting Applications for Virtual Advisory Council

“In addition to their in-person Person- and Family-Centeredness Advisory Council, the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) is creating a virtual advisory council. The virtual advisory council will complement the work of the in-person advisory council by serving as an alternative way for clients, family members, and caretakers to provide input and work collaboratively with HCPF to identify and implement person- and family-centeredness practices; the advisory councils are not decision-making bodies. The virtual advisory council will have up to 20-30 Medicaid and CHP+ members, family members, and/or caretakers who will provide feedback to HCPF via email or through other online forums. In-person meetings are not required and incentives for participation are not available. Recruitment of virtual members will be on a rolling basis. For a list of qualifications, please see the Virtual Advisory Council Member position description. For more information and to apply for the virtual advisory council, click here.” [Source: HCPF]
