Input on Medicaid ID Cards

The contract for producing Medicaid ID cards is being re-procured in the near future, and the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing is seeking provider input on the following questions:

• Do providers have each Medicaid client show the card before each appointment?
• Is a Medicaid ID card needed before a provider will provide services?
• Is there additional information that providers wish were included on the cards?
